Tektites are natural glass that have been formed during meteoric collisions with earth.  For this reason they are often mistaken for Obsidian.  They are used to help elevate consciousness.
Tektites are a high vibration stone and can cleanse the chakras by placing the stone over them.  Meditating with tektite on the third eye tends to cleanse all chakras but, like moldavite, they can take some getting used to.
